The food was so good. We ordered smoked eel, the day of fish(with butter and red cabbage), scallops risotto, and fish & chip. Every dishes so good and the fish and chip is the best in the world. Service is very good too. Love this place.

Really nice Dutch fish restaurant where you can sit and enjoy the amazing dishes at the waterfront. Directly at the entrance you will find a selection with the fish of the day or you can ask for it. Restaurant is absolutely lovely inside with a wonderful terrace at the sea side outside. Team is super friendly, extremly helpful. The food comes super fresh and very delicious. Could only recommend to pay them a visit, they are for sure one of the best restaurants in Volendam and around. Just don't forget to place a reservation. It can be busy.

Great food with great view. The butter used in cooking is tasty and fresh. Fish is a small portion but very delicious. Waiters are welcoming and very friendly and polite. Really recommending this place to taste the natural flavors of Netherlands.

The food and service were so good, we visited 3 times during our honeymoon,tried most dishes on the menu and even brought smoked eel back as presents for our friends. Special mentions to the eel omelette and the delicious kibbelings. Very good wines and friendly service.

We had a short visit to this restaurant. We tried kibbeling for the first time. It was very, very delicious. The herring was also top class. 👌 Unfortunately the weather was not nice, but I can imagine that the view from the terrace looks beautiful during the summer.

Lovely restaurant in front of the marina, you have to try their eel toast, so delicious!!!! I also tried their village’s specialty, the potato puree w red cabbage was excellent, the fish was so fresh and light. The waitress is absolutely lovely and kind.

It was a busy restaurant but we were served with a table quickly. The dishes especially the halibut and the eel were delicious and fresh. Highly recommend the fish soup with intense shrimp flavour. It was also served in hot temperature. The lady who took care of us was able to get our rapport quickly. A good dinner for us.

Charming restaurant with excellent food and ambience. Totally enjoyed the delicious mussels, egg omelette with smoked eel and flatbread with chicken thigh. The mussels especially are worth a mention given the exceptional taste and generous portion. Definitely a restaurant I would visit again if I’m ever in the area. If you cannot find parking right in front of the quaint restaurant with two unique trees flanking the entrance, don’t fret and just head down the road where you’ll find plenty of parking lots. Parking was free at the point of this review.
